President's message

Welcome to the American Judges Association website. My name is Natalie Tyrrell, and I am the AJA President for 2026-2027. I am honored and excited to lead the AJA and this dynamic group of judges into the future.  

If you are reading this message, you have successfully navigated to the site where you can find out about the AJA. Please check out all that the AJA offers its members, including our exceptional in-person conferences and our Court Review publication.

AJA is one of the largest judges' associations in North America. Our membership includes judges from the United States and its territories, Canada, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. We are proud of our special relationship with the judges from the Philippines.

The American Judges Association is proud to be the Voice of the Judiciary. We will always stand up for the rule of law and endeavor to safeguard the independence of the judiciary.

If you are not a member yet, please join us. We are currently offering a free one-year membership to judges who are new to the AJA. I hope to see you at an upcoming conference.
